The video starts off in a hall, there are people around and you work out that it is an AA meeting for people with problems and addictions. From what you hear about Eminem in the news there is knowledge that he has had drug related issues so this video relates to that and his family. This song and video are very controversial and it is something very personal.
He asks to speak, and from there he starts his song. The speech/rap tells a story. The video is very illustrative according to Andrew Goodwins theory because it is like a story. The synaesthesia is being shown because what we are hearing we can also see.
